Fluvoxamine is also used to treat other disorders arising out of anxiety, depression, trauma and Schizophrenia etc.

 

Controlled release of the drug is used to treat disorder related to Social anxiety.

General side effect observed during usage of this drug is gastro intestinal. Indigestion, weakness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, excess sweating, high heart rate, pain in abdomen, sleeplessness, sexual dysfunction also are observed in adverse conditions. 

 

Hallucination happens in rare adverse condition.
