IgG subclass deficiencies (infection), dermatomyositis(inflammatory disease), human immune deficiency virus infection, immune thrombocytopenia(decrease in platelet count), Kawasaki disease (mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome), multifocal motor neuropathy (muscle wasting), stiff person syndrome(autoimmune disease), multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis, paediatric HIV infection, guillain–barre syndrome( autoimmune disease), severity of chronic diseases, risk of Rh sensitization of foetus.
What Are The Side Effects Of Immunoglobulin?
The most common side effects of immunoglobulin are:
- Blood pressure
- Redness/itching / rash at the injection site.
- Hives, nausea
- Diarrhoea, vomiting
- Dizziness, headache
- Abdominal pain, fever
- Fatigue, increased body temperature.
